Located 6 km from Hassan II Mosque and the Morocco Mall, this hotel has a swimming pool, a fitness centre, and a spa. With gardens of tropical plants, the hotel overlooks the sea and the sea-front promenade, La Corniche. Each room, suite and bungalow has a balcony with a view of the sea, outdoor pool or the garden. Good beach-front location, helpful staff, comfortable rooms.

Pros: The Lido Thalasso and Spa is conveniently located, with a back gate to Lalla Meryem beach and near to the many restaurants on the Corniche. The hotel employs a large number of helpful multilingual staff. Our room was large, sparkling clean with en-suite toilet and shower room. Hair dryer, refrigerator and free wifi provided. Food portions in the pool-side cafe are generous although the menu is limited. The pool was nearly empty while we were there (August) and the cheerful attendant provided free towels, occasionally but effectively reprimanding a small number of unruly kids. The hotel is well- served by public transport; the number 5 bus from Casa Port stops at the nearby Megarama cinema and continues on to Morocco Mall. Ain Diab tram stop is 20 minutes away on foot.

Cons: While the hotel is perfectly functional, the decor is a little dated. They still have three phone booths which I guess nobody has used for twenty years! Several rooms were closed for refurbishment while we were there, ideal from our point of view as the facilities were consequently less busy. Complimentary bottled water would have been nice, as the tap water is not safe to drink in Casablanca.

Prefect location and nice spot right on the beach, all staff were spot on, quiet season so I suppose they were all happy

Pros: Really nice facilities and location was spot on. View to the beach - brilliant, literally 2 seconds from the coast. Pools and facilities and everything.

Cons: The hotel as a whole needs a facelift, all need odd jobs and some fixing, and a whole new paint job. Could tell would be good if all tidied up but looking tired and run down a touch on the outside

Cons: No air conditioning available during our stay. Taking into consideration that it is a 4-star hotel and it is not cheap at all, I would have expected a certain compensation on their behalf due to this inconvenience.
