STORY Le Carrousel Rabat

Pros: Probably the best hotel experience ever, in any country that we have visited. The staff is wonderful, attentive and friendly. They remembered not just our last name, which is common at any hotel, but our first names as well. They remembered small details such as how we would take our tea or coffee and detailed dining preferences, which is remarkable given our stay was only three nights. A shining compliment to the unseen staff in the kitchen is also necessary. The team there prepared one of the most sumptuous, elaborate, traditional Moroccan buffets that we have ever tasted. Even though it was the evening meal for us, it was the traditional breakfast for many of the guests who were celebrating Ramadan. With the live music and the celebratory atmosphere by both the staff and guests alike, we dined with them every evening and still were unable to sample all of the unbelievable culinary delights that they had prepared. Thank you all for a wonderful stay!

Cons: A bit away from the center of Rabat, but with a taxi ride costing €4, it was workable.

Friendly staff. Excellent customer service

Pros: The staff were so attentive and genuinely wanted to help. At check in I was given a local drink and was informed about the design history of the hotel being based on the ancient Berber culture. The room service was efficient and very friendly. The kitchen staff prepared me a complimentary english/ Moroccan ice tea with a hand written welcome note which was a nice touch. I have stayed in many hotels in Morocco and this is by far the best and I will definitely recommend and will be returning.

Fantastic stay

Pros: Fantastic property, friendly staff who could not do enough for guests

Cons: One slightly disappointing room service with the wrong order being bought and drinks having been split before we got them but aside from that it was perfect

Cons: Room service was abysmal despite advertising 24-hour dining! I made an order and was told it would be 45mins. I waited for over an hour and then called the room service line but no answer! I went down to the front desk and shockingly I was told there was only one staff on room service duty for the entire hotel!! In fact, the food never came, there was no follow up, no apologies, nothing!! I’ve never experienced anything like this! For a 5-star hotel it is unacceptable!

Brilliant hotel, super comfy beds/bedrooms, lovely staff - 10/10

Pros: This hotel is going to be the top spot in Rabat once it's fully up and running. The design is just stunning inside and out. The beds are hands down the comfiest I've slept on anywhere in Morocco, and the rooms are incredibly soundproof. Bathrooms are gorgeous with huge showers and top-notch fixtures. Food quality is exceptional—breakfast had a massive buffet with lots of healthy choices, and room service was delicious both times we tried it. Staff are all so friendly, kind, and welcoming. I'd recommend it without a second thought and look forward to staying again.

Cons: The hotel is in a soft opening phase, so not all facilities were available - I believe it will be fully open in a couple of months, we will def return when it is to enjoy the spa and the rooftop restaurant.

Cons: The Ac was set to 24 degrees quite hot in the rooms but the issue has been sorted 👌.

Magnifique hôtel et idéalement situé en front de mer 😍

Pros: L’hôtel est idéalement situé , en front de mer. De l’entrée aux chambres tout est bien pensé et tellement beau. La literie est incroyable , les petites attentions laissées par ci par là font toute la différence.

Magnifique, à découvrir

Pros: Le story est idéalement placé à Rabat avec une vue imprenable sur l’océan. Le personnel est aux petits soins pour nous, chambre toujours refaite, petits présents, une écoute sans faille.

AWESOME staff!

Pros: The staff was 10/10, this is what I remember most.

Cons: I did not like seeing what seemed like a construction zone out my window. I paid extra for an ocean view, but really it was distracted from what seemed like contractions. It was only a partial view of water and I paid for full view. This was the only disappointing thing about our stay, but would not keep us from returning.
