Hotel Moroccan House Casablanca

Comfortable and convenient stay with a pleasant breakfast and atmosphere.

Pros: I enjoyed the breakfast at this hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great if you plan to take the bus to other parts of Morocco.

Cons: The shower was not the best, it leaked, and the shower head was broken.

Beautiful Riad inside a modern looking hotel

Pros: Lovely Riad hotel inside, beautiful decorations, despite the concrete looking outside. Breakfast was available in a beautiful, traditional setting. It was filling and lots of choices of cold items, juices and breads/ pastries/ cakes plus you can have an omelette cooked to order. Pretty good location for public transport or walking although I needed to arrive at Casa Voyageurs station which is a bus/tram ride and walk away. Big supermarket around the corner with very reasonable prices.

Cons: The room doors are old (although painted a lovely blue colour) and strangely have holes in where a lock used to be.. so I used the key ring to cover it up otherwise you could see straight into the bathroom from outside the door..! I mentioned to reception on leaving that the sealant needs to be redone along the glass, that separates the shower from the sink, as the water spreads across the back of the sink area.

Pros: The traditional decor, the warm greeting and attentive staff. The location in terms of easy to walk to station, mosque, souk and corniche.

Cons: Shower ran cold a lot of the time.

Pros: The hotel is very easy to find, people are very kind as they handled my brrakfast problem very professionally and kindly, which was totaly my misunderstanding.

Cons: Parking is a little bit challenging but they helped on that matter too.

Charming

Pros: I was rather charmed by this place, I must say. The opposite of anonymous! Reception staff were responsive and happy to speak with me in English. Breakfast was a relaxed affair with a custom omelette option which was appreciated.

Cons: No towels available on arrival - they were still being washed apparently! After a long rail journey, I would have appreciated a shower before heading out to explore. Getting change for the city tax payment (which can only be made in cash) was easier said than done - took three attempts during my stay to achieve!

AMAZING STAY

Pros: The place looked like a castle, the staff was definitely amazing and reliable, and very helpful at all times

Pros: This traditional Moroccan hotel is located in the coastal hotel district. The staff were very friendly and welcomed us with tea and snacks upon arrival. The room, though somewhat dated in style, was very clean. Breakfast was satisfying. The location is convenient, within walking distance to the train station, Rick's Cafe, and the Grand Mosque. They also provide free luggage storage after checkout.

Cons: One thing to note: there was no hot water for morning showers. It’s unclear whether hot water is available only during certain hours, so I recommend asking about this when you check in.

Great place with very convenient location.

Pros: Very well located. Close to the raul station, shops, the harbour, and some sights. Room was perfect and comfortable. Very friendly staff. Great service.

Cons: Terrace unfortunately doesn't offer much of a view. Just the surrounding buildings. Not a big downside, since you should be spending most of your time walking around the city anyways. The interior itself is very opulent nd extravagant, if you get rained out for the day.
